post production
After the production of the video, I then began the editing process for the video. The software that I used was iMovie instead of premier pro. I was going to use premier pro but as it didn't work and has had a history for me not working, my best bet was to use another editing software and I chose iMovie as it already comes with most apple products and it is another week know, easy to use software. To start of the editing process, I imported the needed clips and then put them in the right order. For this project no effects were needed to be used in the editing process so this made the editing a lot more easier. So the next thing I had to do was clip parts of the clips that were un-needed. After that I then unlinked the audio from the clips and then deleted them. This process was necessary as it is an expository documentary so this means it needed a voice over and I didn't want any background noise for when I then imported the needed audio clips. But as I was going to edit some more on a different day, I had to download the edited video so far and then import it into iMovie so I could then finish the editing process but for some reason it wouldn't let me import it, so I looked up why and then done what it said to do (which was covert the MP4 file into a MOV file) and then even that wouldn't work.
